My name is James Townsend. I am a producer for the independent film studio In The Pink Productions (http://www.inthepinkprods.com), which I started in 2003 and is located in Los Angeles, CA.
In The Pink Productions specializes in the production of low-budget gay-themed films in a variety of genres. You may be familiar with us through our first feature length film release, "Sideline Secrets", which was a bestselling title for TLA Video in 2006, and is available through a long list of major retailers that include Amazon, Blockbuster, Best Buy and more...
Recently, we just released the sequel, "Sideline Secrets 2: Darker Secrets", which is currently ranked as the #6 bestselling gay-themed title with our main retailer, TLA VIDEO.
In addition, we are also in the process of editing a number of other films (including the psychological thrillers "Throuple" and "Siren in the Dark", and the short film collection "Something For The Boys") that will be released throughout 2008.
However, the reason I am writing to you at this time is in recognition of our newest project-- the romantic comedy "Billy B." starring Lukas Roberts (www.lukasroberts.com ), which we hope to be able to start shooting in the coming weeks.
The film follows the story of two lovers from the opposite side of the tracks; a country-boy at heart, Landyn Leone (Torrent Sky) has successfully made the transition from Montana to Los Angeles and is now living the Hollywood dream as a rising pop star. In the midst of recording his new album and burning up the dance floors with one hit song after another, Landyn unexpectedly falls in love with well-known porn star Billy Blue (Lukas Roberts). As their lifestyles collide in the eye of celebrity tabloids, their love for one another is tested when a surprise scandal threatens to rock their relationship...
Having the film in pre-production at this time, we are currently seeking any sponsors/investors, clothing designers, companies, etc. that may be interested in assisting us with various aspects of the film production. Our main objective at the moment is coming up with the budget that is needed to actually start rolling cameras.
It is estimated we need approximately $1,500.00 more to begin the shooting phase. This estimation includes the expense of several wardrobe/props that are needed for the film, in addition to general costs such as DV tape, printing costs of various materials, lighting gels, craft services, location rentals, etc.

Whether it be donating/investing actual funds (which is our main priority at the time) or assisting by putting forth selected wardrobe/costuming items, linking us to your website, et cetera, we would love to hear from you. If you assistance is in financial terms, we will gladly work out repayment plans, etc. if you so desire. Please just let us know what your idea may consist of and we will do our best to work things out.
